Magistrates hearing delayed for nearly two days due to lack of
interpreter
An Albanian accused
of supplying cocaine, who spent nearly two days waiting in a Plymouth court for
an interpreter, will face trial later this year.
Altin Domi, who has
given his home address as Hounslow, appeared at Plymouth Magistrates' Court on
Monday charged with being concerned in the supply of 250g of Class A cocaine.
No interpreter was available and the case was first put back to Monday
afternoon before it was rescheduled to Tuesday morning.
The case was again put back to Tuesday afternoon until
an interpreter was arranged to carry out the translation over-the-phone during
