Case delayed for interpreter
A Lithuanian man accused of an offence of drink-driving has had the case against him adjourned so an interpreter can be present.
Viktors Melders, 34, of Hendford Hill, Yeovil, appeared before South Somerset Magistrates charged with the offence which is alleged to have taken place at Henstridge on January 28.
The charge said that he was allegedly nearly three times over the legal limit when tested by the police.
Magistrates adjourned the case until February 23 when an interpreter will also attend the court.
