Cannabis farm charge remand
A suspected cannabis farmer’s court hearing was adjourned because his Vietnamese interpreter did not intend.
Hiep Thai, aged 34, of no fixed address, is accused of being concerned in the production of 236 cannabis plants at a Bolton location, as well as dishonestly using a quantity of electricity.
The charges relate to a period from January 14 to June 13 this year. Thai was remanded in custody by magistrates, who adjourned his hearing so a Vietnamese interpreter could be present in court.
