interpreter by throat in stunned courtroom

As prosecutor Tony Cross QC described this, Ahmed Al-Khatib began twitching and
rocking in his seat.
He
then lunged forward and seized an interpreter sitting in front of him by the
back of his neck, and shook him against the dock wall.
Muffled
cries were heard as Mr Al-Khatib was restrained by two mental hospital staff
and led from the dock. […]
