"People’s lives have been affected by the situation in the U.K. Whole careers and lives have been destroyed, annihilated. Many interpreters and translators have changed professions, never to return to work in a courtroom. It is a huge human toll, possibly not even partially documented anywhere. Yet many interpreters and translators continue to fight, and to support change for the better; and they refuse to sign on with Applied-Capita."
